Second Class Person

It is becoming apparent that I am a second class person in this country. First I couldn’t get a mobile phone contract. Now I cannot get a chipknip card. Chipknip is the Dutch national digital cash card system. And by national they mean, “No, you can’t have one you buitenlander you.”

When I was in the US, I was treated like crap (by companies), but as far as I know everyone in the US is treated like crap. There was no resentment.

Maybe I could take the same solution that I used for my phone, I can try to get a prepaid chipknip.
